  These are verses of the wise Book,

• At-Tur 52:2✦ skyread

  وَكِتَٰبٍ مَّسْطُورٍ

  And [by] a Book inscribed

• Al-A'laa 87:18✦ skyread

  إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَفِى ٱلصُّحُفِ ٱلْأُولَىٰ

  Indeed, this is in the former scriptures,

• An-Najm 53:36✦ skyread

  أَمْ لَمْ يُنَبَّأْ بِمَا فِى صُحُفِ مُوسَىٰ

  Or has he not been informed of what was in the scriptures of Moses

• As-Saaffaat 37:157✦ skyread

  فَأْتُوا۟ بِكِتَٰبِكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ

  Then produce your scripture, if you should be truthful.

• Az-Zukhruf 43:4✦ skyread

  وَإِنَّهُۥ فِىٓ أُمِّ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ لَدَيْنَا لَعَلِىٌّ حَكِيمٌ

  And indeed it is, in the Mother of the Book with Us, exalted and full of wisdom.

  وَوَالِدٍ وَمَا وَلَدَ

  And [by] the father and that which was born [of him],

• Al-Burooj 85:3✦ skyread

  وَشَاهِدٍ وَمَشْهُودٍ

  And [by] the witness and what is witnessed,

• Al-Alaq 96:5✦ skyread

  عَلَّمَ ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ مَا لَمْ يَعْلَمْ

  Taught man that which he knew not.

• Ash-Shams 91:8✦ skyread

  فَأَلْهَمَهَا فُجُورَهَا وَتَقْوَىٰهَا

  And inspired it [with discernment of] its wickedness and its righteousness,

• Al-Qalam 68:37✦ skyread

  أَمْ لَكُمْ كِتَٰبٌ فِيهِ تَدْرُسُونَ

  Or do you have a scripture in which you learn

• Al-Fajr 89:3✦ skyread

  وَٱلشَّفْعِ وَٱلْوَتْرِ

  And [by] the even [number] and the odd

• An-Naba 78:29✦ skyread

  وَكُلَّ شَىْءٍ أَحْصَيْنَٰهُ كِتَٰبًا

  But all things We have enumerated in writing.

• Al-Qamar 54:53✦ skyread

  وَكُلُّ صَغِيرٍ وَكَبِيرٍ مُّسْتَطَرٌ

  And every small and great [thing] is inscribed.

• Aal-i-Imraan 3:48✦ skyread

  وَيُعَلِّمُهُ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ وَٱلْحِكْمَةَ وَٱلتَّوْرَىٰةَ وَٱلْإِنجِيلَ

  And He will teach him writing and wisdom and the Torah and the Gospel

• Al-Muddaththir 74:52✦ skyread

  بَلْ يُرِيدُ كُلُّ ٱمْرِئٍ مِّنْهُمْ أَن يُؤْتَىٰ صُحُفًا مُّنَشَّرَةً

  Rather, every person among them desires that he would be given scriptures spread about.

• Al-Hijr 15:90✦ skyread

  كَمَآ أَنزَلْنَا عَلَى ٱلْمُقْتَسِمِينَ

  Just as We had revealed [scriptures] to the separators

• Ar-Rahmaan 55:4✦ skyread

  عَلَّمَهُ ٱلْبَيَانَ

  [And] taught him eloquence.

• At-Tin 95:2✦ skyread

  وَطُورِ سِينِينَ

  And [by] Mount Sinai

• Al-Ikhlaas 112:3✦ skyread

  لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ

  He neither begets nor is born,

• Aal-i-Imraan 3:46✦ skyread

  وَيُكَلِّمُ ٱلنَّاسَ فِى ٱلْمَهْدِ وَكَهْلًا وَمِنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ

  He will speak to the people in the cradle and in maturity and will be of the righteous."

• Saad 38:19✦ skyread

  وَٱلطَّيْرَ مَحْشُورَةً كُلٌّ لَّهُۥٓ أَوَّابٌ

  And the birds were assembled, all with him repeating [praises].

• Al-Jinn 72:3✦ skyread

  وَأَنَّهُۥ تَعَٰلَىٰ جَدُّ رَبِّنَا مَا ٱتَّخَذَ صَٰحِبَةً وَلَا وَلَدًا

  And [it teaches] that exalted is the nobleness of our Lord; He has not taken a wife or a son

• Al-Alaq 96:4✦ skyread

  ٱلَّذِى عَلَّمَ بِٱلْقَلَمِ

  Who taught by the pen -

• Al-A'laa 87:19✦ skyread

  صُحُفِ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ وَمُوسَىٰ

  The scriptures of Abraham and Moses.
