And thus we have made you a just community that you will be witnesses over the people and the Messenger will be a witness over you. And We did not make the qiblah which you used to face except that We might make evident who would follow the Messenger from who would turn back on his heels. And indeed, it is difficult except for those whom Allah has guided. And never would Allah have caused you to lose your faith. Indeed Allah is, to the people, Kind and Merciful.

We have already sent Our messengers with clear evidences and sent down with them the Scripture and the balance that the people may maintain [their affairs] in justice. And We sent down iron, wherein is great military might and benefits for the people, and so that Allah may make evident those who support Him and His messengers unseen. Indeed, Allah is Powerful and Exalted in Might.
What the text says
Structural alignments verified by computation on the text itself: the phrase 'a middle nation' (ummatan wasatan) falls in verse 143 of Al-Baqara's 286, the exact arithmetic midpoint. The classical abjad value of hadid (iron) is 26, iron's atomic number; with the article, al-hadid sums to 57, the sura's own number. The basmala is written in 19 letters, and the mushaf carries exactly 114 basmalas: one per sura, with sura 9 opening without one and 27:30 carrying one inside.
What classical readers understood
Abjad numbering is a genuine classical system, used for dates and poetry for centuries; the midpoint of Al-Baqara was noted with delight by commentators. None of it was made doctrine.
What science sees
We verified each claim by running the numbers: the midpoint holds; the abjad sums hold; our own counter gives the name Allah 2,697 occurrences under a stated prefix rule (the circulated figure says 2,698: one rule apart, as ever).
