الضحى
- 93:1
وَٱلضُّحَىٰ
By the morning brightness
قسم به روز در آن هنگام که آفتاب برآید (و همه جا را فراگیرد)،
- 93:2
وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذَا سَجَىٰ
And [by] the night when it covers with darkness,
و سوگند به شب در آن هنگام که آرام گیرد،
- 93:3
مَا وَدَّعَكَ رَبُّكَ وَمَا قَلَىٰ
Your Lord has not taken leave of you, [O Muhammad], nor has He detested [you].
که خداوند هرگز تو را وانگذاشته و مورد خشم قرار نداده است!
- 93:4
وَلَلْءَاخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ لَّكَ مِنَ ٱلْأُولَىٰ
And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life].
و مسلّماً آخرت برای تو از دنیا بهتر است!
- 93:5
وَلَسَوْفَ يُعْطِيكَ رَبُّكَ فَتَرْضَىٰٓ
And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied.
و بزودی پروردگارت آنقدر به تو عطا خواهد کرد که خشنود شوی!
- 93:6
أَلَمْ يَجِدْكَ يَتِيمًا فَـَٔاوَىٰ
Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge?
آیا او تو را یتیم نیافت و پناه داد؟!
- 93:7
وَوَجَدَكَ ضَآلًّا فَهَدَىٰ
And He found you lost and guided [you],
و تو را گمشده یافت و هدایت کرد،
- 93:8
وَوَجَدَكَ عَآئِلًا فَأَغْنَىٰ
And He found you poor and made [you] self-sufficient.
و تو را فقیر یافت و بینیاز نمود،
- 93:9
فَأَمَّا ٱلْيَتِيمَ فَلَا تَقْهَرْ
So as for the orphan, do not oppress [him].
حال که چنین است یتیم را تحقیر مکن،
- 93:10
وَأَمَّا ٱلسَّآئِلَ فَلَا تَنْهَرْ
And as for the petitioner, do not repel [him].
و سؤالکننده را از خود مران،
- 93:11
وَأَمَّا بِنِعْمَةِ رَبِّكَ فَحَدِّثْ
But as for the favor of your Lord, report [it].
و نعمتهای پروردگارت را بازگو کن!
